Willowstick presents at Mine Closure 2015

Willowstick Participated in the 2015 Mine Closure conference held in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.  Leif Law, Business Development Manager for Willowstick spoke about how the Willowstick method can be applied to identify frustrating subsurface water connection paths. The first step to managing the water of a closed mine is understanding it.  Willowstick is a valuable tool in gaining that understanding.

Design and Construction Issues at Hazardous Waste Sites (DCHWS) 2015

Willowstick Technologies will be attending the 2015 Design and Construction Issues at Hazardous Waste Sites (DCHWS) held April 15-17 in Philadelphia, PA.  Patricia Parvis with HDR Engineering will be presenting a paper on the application of the Willowstick method to identify preferential groundwater flow in bedrock at an impacted site.

International Conference on Disaster & Safety Management of Water Infrastructures for Safe Korea

Willowstick Technologies participated in the International Conference on Disaster & Safety Management of Water Infrastructures for Safe Korea.  This conference was held March 26-27, 2015 in Daejeon, Korea.  At the conference Val Kofoed, President of Willowstick Technologies presented several case studies on how the Willowstick method is a effective tool to identify seepage through or under dams and levees.
